Vandalism update

Thanks to a knowledgeable neighbor, we learned that a beaver was the culprit of the apple tree destruction.

Vandalism

We had a two year old apple tree, someone cut it down last night after stealing all the apples. They took a few bites of the apple, then threw them in the lake.
They must have come by boat, as neither of our two dogs were alerted.

Garage Thief in Neighborhood!

About 7:30 PM on Tuesday, July 21st, a man driving a silver GEO Tracker with WA plates walked into an open garage on Lachenview Ln and stole a pneumatic hammer and other portable tools yet to be identified.  He is Caucasian, about 30 years old, 6′ tall, black hair and athletic build.  He acted as though he was talking on his cell phone the whole time he was out of his vehicle.
Please keep your eyes peeled for this scuzzball and get his license number.

Below is what a Tracker looks like:

Don’t miss this fun outing!
Grab a box, a basket, or a bag (or any container really) and decorate it with ribbons, flowers, cute paper (anything will work) – funny, elegant, country, homey, manly, etc.
Fill it with a meal for one person.  Include a main course (like fried chicken, sandwich, or salad, anything you like), a dessert (something yummy like fresh fruit or brownies), and a drink.  Don’t forget to throw in a napkin and plastic silverware.  I know we have some amazing cooks around the lake and can’t wait for all of the good food!
We will place all of the boxes in one area and we will draw numbers for the meals.  Yummy!
There are TWO prizes awaiting the winners of the best, most creative looking boxed dinner.
Don’t miss out!    Don’t have a ride?  Please call Brenda Luna (503) 519 6144 to arrange to be picked up at your dock.
Hope to see you there!
