Description: The Columbia Slough Watershed Council is hosting a restoration opportunity on Fairview Creek at Conifer Parks. The design of the project is to improve water quality by removing nutrients and sediments.
This site represents more than four acres of ongoing habitat restoration efforts. Restoration began in 2010 with a small section of stream-side property; turf and weeds were removed and replaced with several hundred native plants, forming a thin but beautiful riparian buffer along the Conifer Park Home Owners Association walking path. This time at Conifer Parks we will be planting over 1,000 plants, including: Big Leaf Maple, Red Alder, Oregon Ash, Red Elderberry and more! We hope to see you there!
